The Companies / Organizations block is the basis of the site. This contains the essential information of registered companies, i.e. members of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Apple with cinnamon – a new flavoured Mecsek Tea
Mecsek-Drog Ltd in Pécsvarad started the packaging of the apple cinnamon tea, its newly developed product, in mid-January. The company raises and processes herbs, and produces about 60 different types of herbal and fruit tea.
Optimism in the industry highest for six years
Since last August the seasonally adjusted GKI economic sentiment index has been stagnating with minor fluctuations. In May - according to the survey of GKI Economic Research Co. (www.gki.hu) supported by the European Union - neither the business, nor the consumer expectations changed compared to April.
Interest rate cut from May
According to the forecast prepared by GKI Economic Research Co. in co-operation with Erste Bank the relatively favorable growth rate of the first months will continue during the rest of the year. Inflation will not accelerate further, moreover, it is expected to decline from September. Real earnings dropped by 7% at the beginning of the year, but the annual average decrease will be less than 5%.
Pannon Wine University: sommelier training in Pécs
The Pannon Wine University was established to start the tradition of the sommelier training, and to train the wine-lover and wine-expert consumers. The first sommelier consulting training will start with the cooperation of the French Wine University Suze la Rousse, in the January of 2006.
